A Jolly Good Time in Parliament

So much has happened over the past two days that I have yet to find the time to write about it. Until I do find that time, here is a video clip taken yesterday.

  1. It sounds like you’re having a blast! England is beautiful this time of year. Weird enough, my Cousin teaches at Oxford (music) so I’ve visited often. If you head back to London any time soon –I definitely have a list of recommendations (they’re on my must-haves):

    - If you like to shop, hit up Top Shop. It’s breathtaking for shopaholics like myself.
    - Automat is a great brunch location in London. It’s just around the corned from Dover Street Market so you can do both in the same morning
    - Speaking or markets, definitely visit Borough Market. Lots of delicious food and vendors.
    - If you’re wandering the East End, hit up Pinchitos (I believe that’s what it’s called). It’s like a tapas places with amazing food. Highly highly recommend

As for Oxford recommendations – definitely the Buttery. It’s just a cute little cafĂ© that serves little cakes and sandwiches. I really like to walk down Little Clarendon Street in Oxford. Filled with little quaint shops and whatnot. Through the northern part (I think – I could be totally wrong) is Summertown, which is really nice to drive through. Definitely make a trip through the covered market though if you haven’t already.

Are you going to have a chance to travel through England? If so, my favourite city is Bath. It’s about an hour train ride from London and is gorgeous. Filled with lots of historic sites, as well as tons of British charm.

Stay away from the fried toast and you’re set!
