Is it in the Water?

Today proved one of our slower days. After class some of us went into town to buy some souvenirs while others worked on school work. As evening rolled around, a good majority of the group went into town to get dinner at one of the many pubs in Oxford. They provide such a unqinely English environment to enjoy some great food and the company of others.

With today being rather relaxed, I will take this as an opportunity to note that some abnormalities seem to be to occuring here. It is hard to be sure whether it is the water or the erratic English weather, but who could have ever thought it possible that a Red Socks fan and a Yankees fan could have sat side by side? Of course, I can make no guarantee that things remained this way after the picture was taken.

There have also been sightings of the elusive Traveling Chinese Cockroaches. It has been learned that these creatures are typically found in the vicinity of Regent students. Considering how widely traveled Regent students can be, they are beginning to show up around the world. While sighted earlier this year with a Regent student in Ottawa, Canada, they seemed to have most recently made their way across the pond to Oxford. And considering all of the amazing traveling opportunities Regent provides to its students, it is very likely these Traveling Cockroaches will be sighted in many more places across the globe.

They have taken a particular liking to Hannah.

Apparently she is concerned that the Peacock we saw at The Trout (an abnormality in and of itself) could itself take a dangerous liking to the Traveling Cockroaches!
